7/30 - Oranges

After today's doctor's appointment, I made my way to the grocery store to fill a new prescription and pick up a few things. Once I got home I had to decide on something to photograph for today's macro photo. The oranges were just sitting on the counter calling out to be photographed. The donuts, too. But I just ate one of those.
I thought i'd also post a photo of my sketch book. Here is where I jot down ideas I have for quilts, bags, general sewing projects, etc... I found these pens recently to help me color in my drawings to help me differentiate different fabrics. There have a really great brush tip that makes filling in a fast process. In this picture you get a sneak peak at a quilt idea I had. I'm excited to try it out.

I finished my Nursing Cover-Up tutorial/pattern last night! It's all ready for you to view/download in the side bar. I spent a bit of time in Photoshop constructing the pictures, but i'm quite pleased with the pattern. I feel that it is relatively straight forward, easy to read and understand and great for beginners and experts. Let me know if i've forgotten something or not explained something well enough.

So today's doctors appointment went much better. My blood pressure was still a little high, but better than last week. I was given an Rx for a blood pressure medication to help me lower my bp and hopefully help with my headaches. My ultrasounds were good and as could be expected for being pregnant. Same with all of my blood work. Seems to be no fear of pre-eclampsia. Thank goodness! But, i'm still stuck on the couch. After I got home from my appointment and a quick stop at the store, hubby said "You don't look so good." I said that was probably because I didn't feel so good. To the couch I went. Thank goodness for blogs to fill my time.
