Wow - I actually found time to go down to my craft room tonight! I whipped this puppy out in no time at all. I not only added fusible interfacing to the fabric, but I also put in a layer of quilt batting to give it a little cush. It's so much cuter than the standard Canon strap that comes with the camera. I still like
Erin's better...but that's because I love her fabric choices. I was pretty lazy, I didn't change the thread in my machine, so instead of black on the leather...it's white. No one will really notice. To make the strap I used pieces that were 4" wide sewn together to a length of ~24". Folded that in half with right sides together and tossed in a thin layer of quilt batting to one side (2" x 24"). Sewed it, cut away the batting from the seam and turned it right side out. Then I top stitched every quarter of an inch the length of the fabric across the entire width.

Tonight we celebrated my grandma's birthday. Here's Brice gazing up at her after dinner.

Yeah I love that strap... think Rob would mind if I put one on mine ;) so cute
I don't know, I LOVE your fabric choices on this. I've got to come up with a way to make my sister one. Her camera doesn't have a neck strap, but a wrist thing. Anyways, very gorgeous!
