My girlfriend Sarah (of about 10 years now) submitted her sketches and ideas to the Heather Ross Weekend Sewing Design Challenge and was one of the featured submissions Heather has posted about so far. I knew my friend was talented, but I had no idea her drawing abilities extended to something so great. I love sketchbook stuff. So I'm just showing you a small snapshot of her submission here – go check out all three pages with her ideas! I have to say, I'm extremely happy to see her getting so into sewing. I have tried to tell her for years that she would take to it like a fish to water, but I don’t think she ever believed me. But I feel as if I've earned the right to say: I was right! She is turning out to be such a talent with her machine!

**blush*** well thanks honey ;-) I really didnt think she would even look twice let alone post my sketches next to all of the "professional" looking stuff so it felt pretty sweet! Thank you so much for your introduction to sewing and your continual support with my silly questions. Now we have to get started on our sewing nights soon!
