I did get to sew yesterday. And did one variation on my idea for little scraps.
These were tiny little squares. Slightly less than 1”…a bit daunting to cut, at first.
But it really wasn’t bad at all. I enjoyed seeing each new piece revealed. I could have flipped it over, and I had just sewn it, but it was a fun little surprise each time. Much like an advent calendar. Hmmm…that has me thinking. Wouldn’t this be a cute idea for advent calendar?
So now I'm done, and I'm in love with it…but this is the hard part, what to do with it? I do have some ideas… Maybe I’ll get something made with this this weekend. I was inspired by this card on Etsy.

Oh I like bysarah's suggestion as a coaster. That could open up a lot of ideas - things like table runners and placemats if you're into those. I really like it!
