“Major” Heat Wave

That’s what the news casters are calling it.  I like heat.  I hate humidity.  It’s been so humid here the last few days I swear you could cut the air with a knife!  It’s suppose to be 105 the next two days…I'm thinking I might turn off my computer for that time.  Even with the A/C running all day, the house probably wont want to stay below 80.  We’re just not use to heat like that here very often.  Our poor A/C units aren’t capable of keeping up with that.

I got Brice’s quilt top done this morning (I thought I had a picture of it, apparently I don’t) and have been working on – and finished – the blocks for Colin’s quilt.  I need to finish quilting my commissioned swell quilt tomorrow and then maybe I can load the boys and quilt them up, too.  It will depend on the heat.  That room heats up pretty quickly and the A/C (and the heat in the winter, for that matter) never quite reach that room.  I plan on staying indoors tomorrow…perfect day to finish my knitting project.
