I’ve Been A Busy Bee

The coffee press sleeves and pin cushions will be added to the store tonight or tomorrow. The heating pad cover will have to be done again…this was a trial run.  It was about 1/2” too small each direction.  Oh well.  It’s working out well enough for now.  But I'd be happier with a better fit.  I’ve been using it for my back (and cramps) the past four days and Friday I finally got tired of the icky cover that came with it.  It was time to beautify it.  The needled case I made in EXTREME haste before we went to California.  It’s working out nicely.  The wonky stars quilt is finished and I will share some photos tomorrow…as well as photos of a few other finished quilts (I hope!).

Wow you really have been busy! I feel like I haven't accomplished anything the last few days because I'm moving into a new sewing space. I did sew tonight so all's not lost :)

Cute projects -- you've been busy. Okay, I've been following your blog for a short time, but I think I just figured out today that you are from the Portland area. Mostly because of the pics you posted to the Cool Cottons flickr pool. I noticed the bag for Bolt in today's blog so I googled it. I have never been there, but will now plan a trip. Thanks. Have you ever been to the NW Quilting Expo? I'm a little disappointed in the classes offered, but I heard it's a good show.

I love the heating pad cover! Good idea! I have one that I always leave on my office chair and it is an ugly blue that could use a makeover. I can't wait to get started!

That inspires me to start making some small things! I have been working on a BIG quilt and I need some instant gratification. Cute stuff!

I feel like you have been the perfect amount of busy to counter-act my extreme sewing laziness.
Sewing productivity doesn't happen when you fall asleep while feeding your baby... really wish coffee kept me up!
Everything looks beautiful, I think i need a pin cushion pillow.
