First off, I TOTALLY forgot to tell you what pattern I used for the Wonky Star Quilt. I used the tutorial found here to construct the blocks. Squared ‘em up and sewed them together (3 rows across by 4 down) and threw some binding on it. Easy.

These are some new fabrics I've acquired from here. I was inspired to buy them and make a quilt after seeing this quilt by Erin. I’m thinking a simple square patch, with some matching solids thrown in. I don’t know as I’ve ever done a simple square patch before, but I am definitely inspired by this quilt.

Everytime I read about Flea Market Fancy I get a flutter because I'm just dying for them to reprint it! Really loving those fabrics from the Mendocino line.

I have since grown my collection, but it comes in 4 colorways so I am thinking its a sign each of my little mermaids need one... and I LOVE honey such a sweet girl. Wonky star.. looks so hard but so cool
