Just A Few Notes

IMG_1982-3 First off, I TOTALLY forgot to tell you what pattern I used for the Wonky Star Quilt.  I used the tutorial found here to construct the blocks.  Squared ‘em up and sewed them together (3 rows across by 4 down) and threw some binding on it.  Easy.

IMG_2087 Next up, Erica is having a giveaway for some Flea Market Fancy prints over here…hurry and enter to win, as it ends tomorrow morning!  And you have one less competing person as I have not entered.  I have these particular prints and wanted to make sure others that didn’t, had a chance to acquire some.  So hurry on over!  And don’t forget to look at all of her quilts – it’s what first drew me to her blog so long ago.  (Honey posed for a photo, laying herself down perfectly by the pre-setup blocks…such a good dog!)

These are some new fabrics I've acquired from here.  I was inspired to buy them and make a quilt after seeing this quilt by Erin.  I’m thinking a simple square patch, with some matching solids thrown in.  I don’t know as I’ve ever done a simple square patch before, but I am definitely inspired by this quilt.
