Unexpected

Sometimes, it’s nice when the weathermen gets it wrong.  We had an un-forecasted snow “event” last night.  It dropped a good 3” (or more) in most of our area.  It was wonderful to see, but of course I was at home.  The poor souls that had to try and drive home were probably not thinking it was so wonderful.  It was quite the snarled mess and still looked like rush hour on some of our roads at 11pm last night.

I was so touched by everyone's comments on yesterday’s post.  It wasn’t my intent to inspire so many of you to set your own goals, but I'm glad that I did.  I have always thought goals were important – even if it’s just a goal of getting the laundry done.  We all need a sense of accomplishment in our lives, and goals help us to feel that.  I am excited to start my photo challenges…I know there will be times that I have to force myself to pick up the camera, but it will be worth it after a year to see 2010 through my lens.

Thanks again Christina, you really have inspired me allot in the short time that I have been following our blog! We had a good snow fall here as well, I wrote about it today with some pictures that I took this morning. I also posted my goals for 2010. Have a great day! "Talk" with you soon!

Ah...you must be in Oregon. I wonder why I never knew that?

My husband was one of the ones caught downtown with only a light jacket on. His two hour bus ride home should have been 20 minutes.

I love the snow, but only when everyone is home and I get to sew!

Snow is a way of life here and one that I just love.

I really can't wait to see 2010 from your eyes.

I too want to do a 365 photo challenge, especially after looking through my pictures to find one for every month. There are some months when I didn't take any pictures! It will be an even greater challenge for me since I am not very skilled with photography, but I hope that it will help me get better (the photography class I am taking in February may help too).
