That was our random number of the day! Congratulations #97. I bet you’d rather have a name than a number, huh? Congratulations to Jeni! If you’ve never been by Jeni’s blog, you’ll want to head that way as soon as you’re done here. So cute and creative and she has a great Etsy shop where she sells vintage sheet fat quarters! I haven’t really been up to much the past few days. I took some photos for friends for their Christmas card and we went down to the Pearl District for part of it (that’s where this photo was taken) and met up with a blog friend from out of town. We had a great time, I love meeting up with her and I’m glad she comes to Portland often. I got to meet her sister as well and had so much fun visiting with the two of them. I can’t wait for the next time.
I’m working on a custom quilting job right now for Michelle. It’s been a blast and I love the “doodling” on the quilt. It’s a nice change from the usual all-over design. We also have had a little snow yesterday and it’s accumulating again, but it wont stick around for long. Still, an inch or two is a nice surprise for us here. We are usually cold and wet, but never seem to have the right conditions for snow at our elevation. I am going to print up some more owls tonight, so I will add a few more of those to the shop soon.

super cute quilting, love it.
you've got snow..... I've just gotten out of the pool at 9.30pm... it is pretty warm here is Oz.
Love your work :)
May I ask you a question? I just started to work on the same snowman quilt, I was going to use Kona cotton for the stitching, did she just stitch on the fabric or did she put something else on the back? Thank you, and congrats. to the winner!
The quilting looks beautiful!
Ya, more owls! I'm wishing for them for Christmas. Let us know when you add them =)
