On the longarm right now being quilted. It’s a pretty time intensive design (why I do that to myself, I will never know) so it will take a little longer than usual to quilt. This will be one of my next pattern releases, too! I am positively giddy about this one and it will be mine when it’s done. That doesn’t happen often. Generally I sell my quilts or gift them, but somehow I just knew this one would be staying with me. You’ll see why soon enough.
Where I spent a lot of time this last week (and that made me very happy!). Of course I had to have Dr. Who going while I sewed up all the little blocks. I’ve been meaning to catch up and fill in the gaps in my viewing. It’s a great motivator. Although sometimes I think I spend more time watching Dr. Who than actually sewing…
Two more quilts. One ready to be quilted, the other waiting for binding. These will also be pattern releases in the near future (I’m hoping before Christmas).
A fantastic stack of vintage sheet fat quarters from my friend Jeni’s shop. She has had some amazing sheets in there lately, and I just couldn’t resist any longer. She sends me vintage sheet fat quarters every time I get a goody package from her. So between that and the little I had before, and now this, I think I have enough for a quilt. Now to decide on a pattern… (Jeni has an awesome blog, too.)
