Just wanted to share my chalkboard for this Thanksgiving. I think I look forward to doing something up on the chalkboard most with the holidays. This is probably my second favorite ever. I found this pin and used a technique similar to this. Basically, print what you want on paper (in this case I had to print lots of papers and tape them all together), rub chalk all over the back and then lay on chalkboard and outline. I didn’t use a pencil to trace every single outline (like the link shows), I just took chalk and traced around the letter to get the idea and then I fill in and do swoops and the such freehand. Usually I freehand these things, but I just didn’t have the time, and it was so much faster! And while I was trolling Pinterest for a quote, I found this awesome print and had to buy it for my kitchen. Merry {Early} Christmas to me! We are forever telling Brice what a “cutie” he is and Aaron calls me his “hottie” so Brice is forever telling people I’m a “hottie”. The print is perfect. Now to get back to basting my turkey.
Beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving!
